The only thing I would do is decrease the amount of carrots to two. I think having too many carrots could potentially cause an imbalance because of increased sugar. Carrots are sweet. Everyone's body is different so a one size fits all recommendation is inappropriate. I would recommend you consult your Dr. too before doing something like this as you can put your body into a too alkaline condition (there is such a thing). My recommendation would be to do it with diet first and see if it helps. You can download a list of alkaline foods to start working from there. Also, most people don't know that eating sugar, carbs and a lot of meat or dairy products will put you on the acidic side of the spectrum. Taking baking soda as a fix is just a bit of a bandaid if you ask me. There are other ways of preventing flu/colds that may be better, you decide.
